Marker and Chalk Boards

The porcelain enamel steel surfaces of our marker and chalk boards are nonporous, nonstaining, and non-combustible. (Fire hazard classification 0-0-0.) They are well suited for the magnetic materials used as teaching aids.

Our reliable and durable chalk and marker boards are at work daily in schools, offices, conference rooms, plants, hospitals, churches and laboratories throughout North America.

Our boards provide the smooth, superior surface necessary for problem-free, legible chalk writing.
This also assures full color intensity when using dry-erase markers, resulting in excellent image
clarity. A dry cloth or eraser easily eliminates annoying "ghost" images left from past presentations. 

Specifications

Face sheet: 24 gauge steel coil coated with porcelain enamel. Meets or exceeds all Porcelain Enamel Institute performance specifications.

Core material: Industrial grade particle board or fiberboard with .005 aluminum moisture retardant backer sheet laminated to guarantee adhesion. 
 

Tack Boards

Vinyl Covered Cork

All boards are self healing and mildew resistant. They are tested in accordance with ASTM E-24, "Surface Burning Characteristics of Building Materials." Conforms to federal specification requirements of G.S.A. CCC-W-408A, Type 2, Class A. Below are available colors:

Krommenie Cork

Self-healing, washable, low reflective. Composed of granulated cork resin and oxidized linseed oil, homogenous in texture, containing a woven burlap backing.

1/4" on 1/4" hard board or 1/8" on 3/8" fiber board
